Do
I have to sign a long-term contract?
No.
You can exit our service at any time. All we ask in our service

Is
my data safe?

only to your worker and Billers, Inc. administration. We back
our entire system up daily. We are also behind secure firewalls so

If
I use the full-service option how will I know what you tell me about
my income is true?
Because your patients pay you and not us. Also, we send out
comprehensive monthly reports detailing your income and all outstanding
patient balances. You can easily double-check this information against
the simple forms you submit to us each week. We are an ethical,
transparent company whose mission is to provide everything needed
for you to feel secure and comfortable in using our services. We
value your continued business and your positive opinion of us.

What
happens if I move?
Just give us your new information if you move. We will update
all records as necessary.

What
happens if I have offices in more than one location?
Many therapists use more than one location. If this is true
for you, we simply need to know your primary mailing address in
order to process the billing for all your patients.

Do
you really check to make sure all my claims are paid?
We
sure do. Two fundamental advantages of using a medical billing service
are to ensure you get paid and to ensure you get paid faster. We
successfully provide both. Our proactive claim reviews catch any
errors before claims are submitted. In the event that an insurance
company still misses a payment, we will resolve the problem ourselves
with no effort from you, or, if for some reason that isn’t possible,
we will work with you to solve the problem quickly and easily.

Can
you fill out my treatment plans?
Unfortunately
not. Treatment plans are clinical documents that must be filled
out by you. We will, however, notify you when treatment plans are
due. We can also provide tips from our own clinical experience,
should you wish, on writing treatment plans that are both accurate
and compelling.

Am
I just another customer to you?
Each
of our customers is special to us. We respond to all concerns quickly,
fully and warmly. We will assign you an individual customer representative,
with whom you will enjoy an on-going relationship: a real person
who knows your work and cares about your needs.

If
I do decide at some point to leave your service will you give me
a hard time?
Absolutely
not. Of course we would want to understand your reasons for terminating
so that we might explore ways to continue working with you. In the
event this proves impossible however we would provide you with all
information we have related to your practice, including insurance
provider ID numbers, estimated treatment plans dates, patient demographic
information, etc. Having said this, we do believe that once you
see what we can do for you, you will want to work with us for as
long as you remain in private practice!

I
have friends/colleagues in other states who might be interested
in using your billing service. Do you work outside New York State?
Yes
we do. We would be happy to consult with anyone you refer.

I’m concerned that my patients will worry about
confidentiality if I use a medical billing service.
Naturally
there are patients who are particularly sensitive to confidentiality
issues, but most patients expect that medical professionals use
outside billing services. If you encounter any patients threatened
by your using our service, it can easily be arranged to remove them
from our database. Our goal is to work with you to support your
best clinical service, whatever your needs.

Since
the payment reminder letters you send to patients are friendly, do
they really work as collections instruments?
Yes. Our Collections Lite service is invaluable in keeping patient
payments up-to-date. Though our letters are in no way harassing, your
patients will be aware that a third party is tracking balances. Payments
to you will be much less likely to be held up by clinical issues and
your clinical relationships will not be negatively impacted. Please
remember too, we only send out letters with your prior permission.
